Our school Council consists of 8 children from Key Stage 2. The School Council work with Mrs Woodhead to organise events and raise money for school
Christmas Craft Fair
At three o'clock in the afternoon, there will be a Christmas craft fair. Children can bring money to enter some little games or buy different things. There will be a tombola with good toys donated by children and staff. If people will want some refreshments, they will be available in the KS2 hall. There will be games with prizes which will include: sweets, toys, books and games. The parents can come and buy different things after school with their children. The children will be making Christmas crafts in school and they will have a period of time to buy the things they made during the school day.
Please donate prizes for the Christmas craft fair!
The Student Council Christmas Fair was a huge success raising £550. (Please look on the 'Photo Album' page for pictures from the day). We will be meeting in the New Year to decide how these funds will be spent but we have been looking at adding to the playground equipment that we already have.
We discussed future events that we would like to run and our ideas included an Easter Egg hunt for Key Stage 1, a cinema night for Key Stage 1 and a Kexborough's Got Talent event for the whole school.
As soon as any deatils are confirmed we will be sharing them with you.
The Student Council held a cinema night in October where children watched a film and enjoyed fizzy pop and pocorn. The cinema night raised £150.00
