E SAFETY

All stakeholders of Kexbrough Primary School are committed to ensuring that all our pupils are safeguarded from potential dangers and harm. An increasingly significant threat is that posed by the internet and social media and this curriculum has been adopted to educate our pupils about the dangers that they could face, how these can be avoided and, if experienced, how they should be dealt with. We do not wish to scaremonger and we recognise the vital part that the internet and social media play in our increasingly digital society but we must ensure that we educate our pupils about both the advantages and potential disadvantages that the internet possesses and poses.

The SLT and Governing Body of Kexborough Primary School have agreed to adopt the e-safety curriculum designed and created by the South West Grid for Learning.
